Dartz ("we", "our", "the app") is a dart scoring application. This policy explains how we handle your data.

Data We Collect

When you create an account or sign in with Google, we collect:

• Account information: your name, email address, and profile picture (provided by Google).
• Game data: scores, game configurations, and results.
• Friend connections: friend requests and accepted friendships between users.

If you use the app without creating an account, all data is stored locally on your device and we collect nothing.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide the scoring and statistics features of the app.
• To sync your game data across devices when you are signed in.
• To enable friend connections and shared game history.

Data Storage

Account and game data is stored on our servers hosted in Europe. Local game data (players, groups, scores) is stored on your device using a local database.

Third-Party Services

• Google Sign-In: used for authentication. Google's privacy policy applies to the data they process.
• Expo / EAS: used to build and distribute the app. No personal data is shared with Expo.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Your game data is only visible to you and to friends you explicitly connect with.

Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the app settings. This will permanently remove all your data from our servers. Local data on your device can be cleared by uninstalling the app.

Children's Privacy

Dartz is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
